💭Kiddio Sharing Time: Our Mission and Vision 2️⃣

We aim to provide holistic support to the family.The needs of children and their parents are undoubtedly linked, and it is difficult to have a single solution, especially for SEN children. Because of this, our stationing social worker would have a comprehensive understanding of each family member before matching them with the key support services.

An example to share, there is a SEN student who came to Kiddio for after school tutorial class at the very beginning. However, we found out that the support he may need is far beyond that, speech therapy was arranged for him afterwards. Meanwhile, adopting our core value “Learner and Child-centred”, we believe that to solve the “problem” of child also depends on the whole family, in which our social worker provided psychological counselling for the parent, so as to learn more and relieve their pressure in terms of childcare, hoping to help the family in a comprehensive way.
